Conroe, TX (December 19, 2006) -- Wayne A. Stroman, of Stroman Realty, Inc. (dba Rii® Stroman) in Conroe, Texas has been appointed to the National Association of REALTORS® Resort and Second-Home Real Estate Committee by National President Pat V. Combs of Grand Rapids, MI. The 2007 Committee leaders are Dennis L. Johnson (CO) and Vice Chairman Dutch Dechert (NJ). Wayne Stroman joins forty-six other resort area and second-home specialists selected from across the country to sit on this committee. The committee's charge will be to monitor, review, and analyze issues and trends affecting resort and second-home markets and recommend policies to NAR's Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Members will also provide feedback on applicable proposed legislation and regulatory rulemaking.
The Resort and Second-Home Real Estate Committee will conduct its next meeting in Washington, DC in May in conjunction with the NAR Midyear and Legislative Meetings. The National Association of Realtors, "The Voice for Real Estate," is America's largest trade association, representing more than 1.3 million members involved in all aspects of the residential and commercial real estate industries. |
